Busted! Media SLAMS Trump… but hid these 5 HUGE Obama gaffes !!!
FEBRUARY 17, 2017
President Donald Trump made a simple gaffe during his no-holds-bar press conference yesterday. Trump referenced his November victory by saying, “I guess it was the biggest electoral college win since Ronald Reagan.”
Whoops. Turns out that wasn’t true. A simple mistake, all humans do it — but this particular one sent the mainstream media into a frenzied attack.
Lost in the furious outrage by looney liberals, however, is the fact that former President Barack Obama — who was adored and fawned over by the corporate media — often made the same mistakes.
But he was always given a free pass.
Here are five of Obama’s most embarrassing gaffes the mainstream media wouldn’t touch
1) “I’ve now been in 57 states — I think one left to go.” (Can you believe this ?)
While campaigning in 2008, Obama forgot how many stars were on Old Glory. He bragged to reporters that he’d visited 57 of the 58 states during his presidential campaign.
Did the media attack? No, they laughed it off and moved on.
2) Forgot the time… by three years
During a press photo shoot while visiting Westminister Abbey in London, Obama signed the guest book, “24 May, 2008.”
This was in 2011… that’s a heck of a mistake to make.
So, did the liberal press print on their front page a discussion on Obama’s failing mental health, like The New York Times did with Trump on Friday?
No… in fact, they didn’t mention it at all.
3) Ignored a couple Medal of Honor winners
While addressing soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan in 2011, Obama told them he had the privilege of meeting Jared Monti, “the first person who I was able to award the Medal of Honor to who actually came back and wasn’t receiving it posthumously.”
This one was a whooper, because SFC Jared Monti was killed in action.
It was SSG Sal Giunta that was the first living recipient of the Medal of Honor awarded for his heroics in Afghanistan.
Where was the media outrage that Obama was dishonoring the most heroic and decorated of our veterans? There was none, of course.
4) Skipped the facts regarding a deadly natural disaster
After a devastating tornado struck Kansas in 2007, Obama discussed the disaster with reporters and said, “In case you missed it this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died. An entire town was destroyed.”
He was off by 9,988, however. The deadly twister killed 12. But it didn’t matter, because these weren’t Obama voters afterall.
Did the media question his competence? Nope, another free pass.
5) Doesn’t know basic American geography
The Kansas tornado wasn’t the only time Obama ignored the mid-West.
While campaigning in 2008 against Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination, Obama explained he was losing Kentucky because Hillary “is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So, it’s no surprise that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle.”
Obama is from Illinois, of course, which borders Kentucky.
Arkansas does not.
But did that matter to the liberal media? Not a bit.
The fact is, most of this are simple misstatements. Obama, like Trump, was human — and sometimes humans make mistakes.
The real difference is how the press treats these simple gaffes. After seeing the Friday headlines around the country, is there any question that the press’ vicious attacks against Trump are motivated by their radical liberalism?
It’s no wonder the president calls them “fake news.
